It's safe to say "Music by John Williams" will have the best documentary soundtrack ever.
You know Williams' iconic themes and scores, everything from "Star Wars" and "Superman" to "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and the "Harry Potter" movies. Now it's time to learn more about the 92-year-old Oscar winner himself, the subject of a new Disney+ documentary.
USA TODAY is exclusively debuting the rousing first trailer for "Music by John Williams," and for cinephiles of a certain age, it doesn't disappoint: Williams' frequent collaborator Steven Spielberg breaks down how a two-note riff was as key as a killer shark to his influential blockbuster "Jaws."

"It’s the purest form of art I’ve ever experienced from any human being," Spielberg says of Williams' work. The movie digs into Williams's background and family, and showcases a bunch of luminaries waxing on about the composer's legacy, including commentary from filmmakers George Lucas, Kathleen Kennedy, Ron Howard and J.J. Abrams as well as Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. "Music" focuses on Williams playing the piano and discussing what his long career has meant to him: "Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music."
